  1. On Tuesday 13th January I was using my video camera at the MCA when Neil Goodchild began to play the piano. He played so well it was a pleasure to listen to him play his own compositions, Chopin, Gerschwin etc. His email address is theomusica@hotmail.com.
He gave me his CD. I said I would try to put the photo on streetpianos.
I enjoyed listening to his CD with piano music by Beethoven, Chopin, and his composition called Virtuoso.

  2. My daughter Tara and her friends (who are all very musical) went into the city for her birthday on Monday and set out to play as many pianos as possible. They played 4 pianos - Wynyard station, Australian Square, MCA at Circular Quay and Cook Phillip Park. We also caught a ferry to and from Manly hoping to play but neither ferry had the piano on board.

They had a great time, Glen Hopper (the boy playing is very talented) and the girls sang along - the repetoire included Billy Joel's Piano Man, Drops of Jupiter, Let it Be - it was a fantastic day! I will post a YouTube link soon.
    Thank you Sydney Festival 2009!

  3. Loved playing here today - but it's in the Sun - terribly hot! Any chance of a quick move to under the tree (as you sit at the piano and look right)?
  4. These two decided to play together when i asked for a photo
