It was hot on July 4th, well over 93. I wish they had pianos on the street every day.
This is an improvisation, I made it up as I went along.
I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed playing.

My son and I were in New York on his senior graduation trip. We went to see a Broadway play and afterwards we were walking through Times Square and we saw this Piano. I told him he ought to play something, and he agreed. He played "Charlie Brown" by Vince Guaraldi, "Baby Grand" by Billy Joel, and "Georgia" by Ray Charles. WHile he was playing, some video team came up and statred filming him. They then interviewed him. It was his 15 minutes of fame.
Great idea!

I sat for hours listening to people play. Some were wonderful some
not so good but all in all a very positive experience. Made my visit to New York City most enjoyable. Thank you whoever is responsible for
making this happen.

On my journey to play 25 pianos in one day, this spur of the moment event took place in times square.
