This was the first piano we came across, with no paint on it at that time. An electronic music concert at the square provided an interesting musical backdrop ...

After Chelsea Market we walked down to the other two Chelsea pianos. At Gansevoort we met some REALLY nice people-- a teenager from Germany who was quite chatty, a family from Alabama and two women who told us about the Coney Island piano. I promised to post this for this woman's whose birthday is today and enjoyed playing this piano. Happy Birthday. (got it in just under the wired!)

Afternoon of June 28th - a lonely meatpacking piano.

Friend #21,7.00 pm on 6/30, the four hands playing before me were doing jazz. The Jazz and the action on the piano reminded me more of Lionel Hampton's vibraphone than anything else. So here goes another episode of children and my brain making a connection.
The little star gets a new song to go with it, "Mary Had a Little Lamb," my twist being the line ending "it was against the rules" the support chord goes into minor key chord just the piano dictates the key I enter into . Just musical fun, but I did have a nanny with child in tow singing along so that is all good.
