It’s the closest I’ll ever get to Carnegie Hall. I loved playing pianos all over NYC, with an audience..or not! This was a unique piece of an unforgettable anniversary weekend in the city.

As I headed up the library steps I was greeted by the sounds of an enthusiastic choral group – the Philadelphia Boys choir. While doing a tour in the city, stopped off to sing, gathered around the Bryant Park piano. What a treat!

My daughter and I went to the Bryant Park piano only to find it covered up. There was a Bryant Park security guard “guarding” the piano! Surely, this is not in the spirit of allowing the public access to these pianos! Can you speak to Bryant Park management about this? Thank you so much for choosing NYC to do this in.
