This is such a happy piano. I know it's going to continue to bring many smiles to our students. I'm planning on making a collage of all the students playing the PMIY pianos to hang above the piano. In the spirit of PMIY all are welcome to come and play this piano! Thank you! <!-- image_comment_id: 669 --> Safe in its new home, Somerset Academy of Music in Loveland. This is such a happy piano. This is a photo of the last performer at Sharonville location. I'm very glad to give this piano a new home, but there was a little boy there who was not pleased that we were moving the piano. He asked me, "Why do you have to take the piano? I've only got to play it for 3 days." I'm sure there will be many disappointed people as the pianos disappear. I know I feel sad the event is over, but I know my students and I will always remember it. I feel very honored to be able to give the piano a home were many can continue enjoying it! <!-- image_comment_id: 667 --> This piano is being moved to my music school, Somerset Academy of music. I've been to the Sharonville location about four times so far, mainly because it's such a nice location simply to hang out! Below is a brief one minute snippet of me playing the rare "Kentucky Rag," composed and published in 1908 by Floyd Willis, of Covington, Kentucky. He worked as a theater and silent film pianist in Cincinnati in the early part of the 20th century. This piece will appear on my upcoming album of rare Cincinnati-published ragtime. Long live Play Me I'm Yours! <!-- video_comment_id: 88 --> Well, now that I’ve played at all 42 locations, I’ve decided to revisit a few of my favorite spots while the pianos are still around. The piano was in fine condition, and it had another player keeping it company-- a very young man who decided my son was his new best friend. I'll have to go back to this one again. I hope it stays in good shape when they move it back to the arts center from this park. This is another place I am so glad to know about from having to travel to this piano. I intend to come back and explore old Sharonville more sometime soon. <!-- image_comment_id: 578 --> This was one of the real surprises of this Sunday Road Trip.
