Only one piano today... since we were down in Loveland, we decided to check one more off the list!

I was only able to visit three pianos - this was probably my least favorite of the three. I thought it sounded off, and it felt like the humidity was having an effect on it... but the window next to it was very welcoming!!!

I played this one yesterday. What hospitality! I was invited to play with a group of students tomorrow, but I'll be unable to due to a previous commitment.
Thanks for the warm welcome!
This one is actually a player piano from New York. It sound solid across the range, with the exception of high C, which sounds like it's damped. The piano was tuned yesterday morning, and I was so delighted to meet the tuner, Mr. S.........
These tuners are some kind of saints, scurrying from piano to piano putting them in temperment, knowing all the while that 'good tuning' will be so fleeting. They are not just tuning, but repairing where they may as well. Take good care of 'em!
Raise the top so you can really hear this one, It's a beaut!
Bruckner, Wagner and Humperdinck were featured.
Good location, but a little noisy on the street. If the traffic were lighter you could appreciate this one down the street at the RR.
As we celebrate the sesquicentennial of the birth of Gustav Mahler, remember,
"The ONLY recordings we have of Mahler playing the piano are on:
PIANO ROLLS!"
So a player piano is a great thing to have around.
Thanks again to all!
