Fine weather; a bit of radio noise from the drive-thru across the street, but overall manageable. The porch of the old house turned arts center was lovely, even on a somewhat rainy afternoon. It had cleared up a bit by the time we got to this one. I'm glad its time was extended; I intend to play it again before it's gone. This photo was taken 8-21-10. The metal human figure you can see from the porch is also really cool. Facing the house, it'll be on your right. I'm sure my son will take many pictures of it next time we're there. <!-- image_comment_id: 598 --> This is one of the most beautiful instruments I have seen out there, and the location was fantastic. This was such a beautiful spot to play. Thank you for a fun & interactive exhibit! <!-- image_comment_id: 596 --> Courtney, 7, enjoys playing our first “Play Me I’m Yours” piano. Kennedy was our first stop - and while the piano felt great, and was so brightly decorated, the lawn crew made it difficult for me to hear the music. I still managed to plunk through a few of my favorites (I'm just a beginner, so it wasn't anything fancy).. <!-- image_comment_id: 451 --> We had a lot of fun – this is a great project! He played the F # minor Prelude and Fugue from Book I of the Well Tempered Clavier. I played the ones in E major and F minor from Book II. It is a lovely piano, and plays pretty well despite the humidity. The location on the porch of the Art Center is ideal. jp <!-- image_comment_id: 421 --> As a part of the Play Bach I’m Yours event, Richard Van Dyke and I played at Kennedy Heights.
